Dreadpick profile information

- preference signals generated from your activity;

DreadSync information
When you use DreadSync, we may temporarily process:
- room identifiers;
- participant names or display names;
- group preference selections;
- shortlist choices;
- votes;
- final group selections.
DreadSync rooms are designed to be temporary. Room-related information is automatically scheduled for deletion after approximately 12 hours.
Guests joining a DreadSync room are not required to create a Dreadpick account unless otherwise indicated.
Technical information
When you access the website, our systems may automatically process technical information such as:
- IP address;
- browser type;
- device type;
- operating system;
- referring URL;
- pages visited;
- date and time of access;
- technical logs and security events.
This data may be required to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.

5. Fearprint and Recommendations
Dreadpick uses preference information to generate recommendations and match scores.
Fearprint and other recommendation systems are intended to help users discover games and movies that may match their horror preferences.
These recommendations are not decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.
Your Fearprint may evolve over time based on information such as ratings, saved titles and other interactions with Dreadpick.
6. Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited information with service providers where necessary to operate Dreadpick, including providers of:
- website hosting;
- database and infrastructure services;
- security services;
- analytics services;
- email or communication systems;
- advertising services, where applicable and subject to consent requirements.

7. Third-Party Services and Links
Dreadpick contains information obtained from or links to third-party services, including game stores, movie databases, publishers, streaming services and other websites.
Third-party websites operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Dreadpick is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites.
Dreadpick may use data and APIs provided by third-party services such as TMDB and Steam. Their use of data is governed by their respective terms and policies.

In general:
- account information is retained while your account remains active;
- Fearprint, ratings and library information are retained until you remove them or delete your account, unless retention is otherwise required;
- DreadSync room information is temporary and normally removed after approximately 12 hours;
- technical and security logs may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting or legal compliance;
- consent records may be retained where necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable law.
When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymized.
9. International Data Transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the European Economic Area.
Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for such transfers, including adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards.
10. Your Rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to:
