Industry trade outlets note the project was acquired last fall after a multi-studio bidding war and is described as inspired by true events, unfolding in real time. Filming is scheduled to begin in Australia this November, with Scott Glassgold producing for 12:01 Films alongside Temple Hill, and J.R. Young overseeing the project for 20th Century Studios.
