Spiritus Sancti, a solo-developed first-person psychological horror game, uses your voice as the weapon. You must speak sacred rites through your microphone to repel, stun, and exorcise the forces of darkness. You play as Father Nathaniel, a young priest sent to investigate a suspected possession inside a small apartment on Vayra Street. Encounters happen in real time, and the experience is described as like no other.
Key features
Robust voice recognition across all game mechanics; optional real-life contact via SMS and Calls; a “Summon the Developer” feature that pulls the dev directly into streams in real time; a dark, emotional storyline about loss, denial and regret; and a dog that responds to voice commands.
Release date and platforms
Spiritus Sancti launches for PC on Steam on September 10. A demo is available to try.
